Kanye West Dreams Of Designing IKEA Dorm Room Furniture

   Will IKEA have him?

Five months after tweeting about his "super inspiring" IKEA visit, Kanye West still wants to design furniture for the Swedish company. This is one dream he refuses to give up on, apparently.
"I have to work with IKEA. Its furniture, with interior design, with architecture," he told BBC Radio One host Annie Mac on Monday, August 1. Specifically, he wants to create "a minimalist apartment inside of a college dorm."
But don't go ditching your sub par MALM nightstand just yet. CNBC reports IKEA is "flattered by Kanye West’s high interest” but has "no plans to collaborate [with him] at this point in time."
IKEA's Australian branch, meanwhile, jokingly created a mock-up of what appears to be the ginormous bed from the "Famous" music video.

So why the fascination with IKEA? Kanye says it's all about making "something that everyone can touch" and afford no matter what their "financial bracket" is. (This is also why he wants to make a $30 Yeezy sneaker for Adidas.)
Yet according to 'Ye, his IKEA dream will never be a reality thanks to the "social prison" he lives in.

"I went to IKEA. I visited them and I feel that when they came to their board of blah, blah, blah, people start bringing up, 'He interrupted this girl and told the truth, so he's the worst person on the planet.' And it's like, so what, that means I can't create with IKEA now? Because I say what everyone else is thinking?"

What do you think about Kanye designing for creating an IKEA furniture?
