Where is Tyga? Judge issues warrant for his arrest.

A Los Angeles judge issued a bench warrant Tuesday for the arrest of rapper Tyga after the gift-giving boyfriend of Kylie Jenner failed to show up in court to explain why he hasn't paid a nearly $500,000 debt.
And Kylie better not get too attached to the new Mercedes-Maybach that Tyga (real name Michael Ray Stevenson, 26) just gave her: If Tyga and his lawyer, if he has one, don't show up soon, the lawyers for his ex-landlord are going after her new wheels, which cost nearly $200,000.

Daniel Abir, of Abir, Cohen, Treyzon & Salo LLP, which represents Malibu landlord Gholamreza Rezai, told USA TODAY Tyga was supposed to be in court Tuesday for a "debtor's exam," during which he was to explain his finances and why he has failed to pay what he owes Rezai  more than $480,000.
Rezai filed a lawsuit against Tyga and won, after the rapper rented Rezai's mansion in Malibu for $16,000 a month starting in June 2011, then abandoned his lease four months later.

But Tyga didn't show in court Tuesday, Abir says. So Judge Nancy Newman issued a warrant authorizing Tyga's arrest to ensure his future attendance in court, Abir said. Bail was set at $10,000, he said.
Representatives of Tyga, including his publicist and manager, did not return emails from USA TODAY seeking comment.
"It is clear that Mr. Stevenson thought he had better things to do, like buy his girlfriend Kylie Jenner a new $189,000 Maybach while continuing to claim poverty," Abir said in a media release. "Kylie shouldn’t get too comfortable in her new car; it’s unlikely to be hers much longer."
Kylie showed off the gift from her off-and-on boyfriend on her Instagram.
Abir says federal law bars anyone with a debt judgment against him, as in the case of Tyga, from giving away their assets with such gifts.
